PortAventura Foundation concludes a year defined by dedication, solidarity, and growth. In 2024, we reinforced our commitment to improving the quality of life of children and young people in vulnerable situations, with special attention to those facing serious diseases, special needs, or risk of social exclusion. Through initiatives like PortAventura Dreams Village, access to leisure, corporate social action, and collaboration with social and health bodies, we have had a real impact on more than 13,000 people.
All this was made possible thanks to the joint effort of volunteers, partner companies, social organizations and the PortAventura World team. We believe in leisure as an engine of wellbeing and emotional recovery. Above all, we believe that every gesture counts. Because every gesture adds up. And with each addition, we continue to build dreams.

PortAventura Dreams Village celebrates its 5th anniversary as the heart of the Foundation. More than 360 children with serious illnesses and their families enjoyed a six-day experience filled with magic, relaxation, and emotional connection in an inclusive, barrier-free environment. This year, four new villages were added, expanding the Village’s capacity.
«For the families, the volunteers and the young people it was a day full of joy and togetherness that we will remember with great affection.»

«This project has brought enormous joy, as this type of proposal does not always reach groups of patients with chronic diseases.»

COLLABORATIVE ACTIONS

Fun Run Solidarity Race
More than 1,500 runners joined the 11th Fun Run, a solidarity race organized by the PortAventura Foundation. The funds raised, a total of €10,700, went to the Sant’Egidio Community and Aspercamp, two associations that work to support people in vulnerable situations.

Solidarity Golf Tournament
The 9th solidarity tournament involved 120 players, who raised €10,240 for local charity initiatives. The funds were given to CEEPSIR Escola Solc and Fundación Bara, two organizations that work to support young people with disabilities and in situations of social risk.

Access to Leisure
In 2024, the PortAventura Foundation brought leisure to 13,514 children and young people in vulnerable situations with the delivery of free or very low-cost tickets to PortAventura Park. This was in partnership with local centers that dedicate their efforts to improving the quality of life of children, especially those that support people with serious illnesses or at risk of social exclusion. The Foundation has worked with various entities to ensure that these children enjoy unforgettable leisure experiences, including Fundación Xana, Sonrisas Sor Lucía Caram, and DANA Valencia, with the support of Grupo Transvía.

Solidarity Dinner
The PortAventura Foundation raised €125,931 at the XIII Solidarity Dinner to promote three projects focused on the inclusion of children and young people in vulnerable situations. In 2024, the beneficiaries were the Fundació Casa Sant Josep de la Xarxa Santa Tecla and the Centre de Formació Permanent of the Fundació Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), two local organizations that carry out exceptional work with children and young people at risk. The third award went to Dreams Village, from the PortAventura Foundation itself.

Social action is part of the DNA of PortAventura World. Throughout 2024, the team’s commitment has been reflected in multiple solidarity initiatives that have generated a real impact in the community. Corporate volunteering has been a key component: 85 volunteers gave their time, energy, and passion in 219 activities, totaling over 765 hours of direct involvement. These actions have not only contributed to the wellbeing of those who need it most but have also strengthened the internal bond and pride of belonging to a common project.
The PortAventura teams’ daily act of solidarity was channeled through the Teaming program, in the form of voluntary micro-donations of €1 per month. The Foundation tripled each contribution, achieving a final figure of €18,888 awarded to two social projects selected by internal vote. Furthermore, initiatives like “Woody’s Journey” have brought the Foundation’s mission to every department within the company, engaging individuals from diverse backgrounds in actions filled with meaning and purpose. We dream as a team, and we do it with the certainty that every gesture counts. Because the sum of collective commitment has the power to transform reality.
