The Foundation
We are a non-profit foundation working to achieve the integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, with a special focus on children and young people.
The PortAventura Foundation is the result of more than 20 years of dedication by PortAventura to Corporate Responsibility in the fields of human resources, environmental care, and support for NGOs and hospitals. Throughout this time, PortAventura has consistently employed workers with disabilities.
Additionally, concern for the environment has been a constant, reflected in the promotion of environmental management systems, respect for biodiversity, landscape conservation, and responsible use and management of natural resources.
PortAventura is a brand associated with joy and excitement. Over the years, it has carried out various initiatives to facilitate access to leisure for these groups: donating tickets to NGOs, supporting blood donation campaigns, implementing special services in its facilities for specific groups, and having PortAventura characters visit hospitals.
In 2011, PortAventura decided to take a step forward in its Corporate Responsibility policy by launching the PortAventura Foundation, with the firm intention of consolidating the actions it had already been carrying out in its area of influence and adopting new goals. This initiative aims not only to help groups at risk of social exclusion but also to professionalize the management of current activities and carry out various projects within the foundation’s territorial influence.
The PortAventura Foundation is also designed for you. That is why, after sharing so many emotions, we want you to participate and get involved in the different steps of this exciting experience.

WHAT
WE DO
Our mission is of general interest, and our objective is to contribute to the well-being of society and to improve the quality of life for people at risk of social exclusion, especially children and young people, by acting directly with them or jointly with their families, as well as indirectly by supporting other foundations or institutions.
We work in two clearly defined areas:
Integration of groups at risk of social exclusion
We support the full integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, with special attention to children and young people, by acting within their family and social environment.
Helping other foundations achieve their objectives
We help other foundations achieve their goals by promoting and developing programs designed specifically for their groups and in accordance with the needs of each group.
Our activity plan
Support for social integration
Support the social integration of sick or disabled people, or those belonging to groups at risk of social exclusion, especially children and young people, through:
- Actions aimed at raising awareness in society about these groups.
- The promotion of programs aimed at improving the quality of life for these groups.
- Improving the efficiency of identified foundations.
- Developing a program to make leisure accessible to underprivileged groups through ticket donations and space provisions.
Social action and volunteering
Promote social action and volunteer participation.
Environmental protection and sustainable development
Promote environmental awareness, especially regarding environmental protection and sustainable development. Encourage good environmental practices.
Dissemination and training
Promote dissemination, training, and awareness activities in each of the foundation's areas of operation.

HOW WE FUND
OURSELVES
Initial Donation
Initial donation by Port Aventura Entertainment S.A.U. of €60,000 in cash according to Article 331-5.1 of Law 4/2008 of April 24 of the Third Book of the Civil Code of Catalonia.
Annual Contribution
Annual contribution of 0.7% of Port Aventura Entertainment S.A.U.'s net profit after its accounts audit.
Other donations
Other donations from other foundations, charitable events, individual donations, and other activities.
