Expansion of Dreams Village
Coinciding with World Family Day, 15 May 2024, the PortAventura Foundation has inaugurated the extension of the PortAventura Dreams Village.
Now, thanks to an investment of 2.5 million euros and an alliance with Transgourmet and the “la Caixa” Foundation, the complex has grown from six to ten villas. This extension will allow it to accommodate more than 400 families annually. In addition, an aquatic area and new green areas and gardens have been built.
Dreams Village, 8.850 m² of fun
The Dreams Village has 8,850 m², with ten villas of 135 m² each, without architectural barriers and along with play areas, a Cruyff Court and multipurpose rooms in which to meet and share experiences with other families.
During the presentation ceremony, Ramon Marsal, president of the PortAventura Foundation, said: “We are very proud to present the extension of the PortAventura Dreams Village. “ The expansion was an absolute priority and we are very happy to see it materialized,” he explained.
The beginning
Dreams Village is a pioneering social project launched in 2019, which promotes the value of leisure and family bonding moments within recovery therapy.
PortAventura Dreams, which hosts more than 200 families annually from all over Spain, is a unique space designed to enjoy a free six-day stay full of emotions and family activities together. Top-level allies such as leading children’s hospitals in Spain, private companies and other foundations also participate in the initiative.
With an investment of more than 4 million euros, PortAventura Dreams is a physical, different and playful space, but it is also an emotional space, designed to seek a positive effect from a psychological point of view during the fight against the disease, while allowing for new moments of family bonding.

“At PortAventura World, we want to bring real value to society and our environment. Our actions from the social lever act as tools to combine all the company’s needs for change and sustainability. Today, as a further reflection of our values, the PortAventura Dreams project is launched,” said Arturo Mas-Sardá, President of PortAventura World.
